I was born on June 10, 1972, in Copenhagen, Denmark. I have been working with
computers and music (both acoustic and electronic) since I was a kid. I
began using the Amiga back in the 80’s when - together with a couple of other
guys - I started the computer group “Rebels”. I was making music for demos and
compilations on Pro Tracker (Amiga music prog.)
Later I started playing the drums. My father (Svend-Erik Nørregaard) was also a professional
jazz drummer, so the drums - and jazz environment - have always been close to my heart. According to my father, I started playing drums when I was five years old. When I was 23, I began taking lessons from the Danish
drummers Jonas Johansen and Soren Frost. Later I was fortunate to meet and get lessons from the great
American drummers Herlin Riley and Brian Blade.
After four years playing with musicians like Bob Rockwell, Jacob Fischer, Ben Besiakov,
Tomas Franc and Nikolaj Bentzon, I was still attracted to computers. So, from 1998 to 2000 I got a
computers education during the day and played drums at night and on weekends.
Today, besides my music career, I work in my own company sonic branding as
chief executive
