I primarily play in three bands: Nulle & Verdensorkestret, Thomas Stenberg, and my own band, Karsten Kjems Quintet. (Click on music to listen..).

Besides these bands, I'm usually hired to play jazz in various constellations, but I'm also very fond of playing latin, jungle, funk and pop music.

On special occasions, I also work as DJ. Here, my repertoire primarily is funk & disco from the 60-70's and contemporary house, jungle & acid jazz.
